School buses collide

Two school buses that were headed in opposing directions collided near Kottayam Medical College Hospital. However, none of the passengers sustained any significant injury.

According to the police, the incident occurred around 9.15 a.m. at Kariputhattu. There were very few passengers at the time of the accident. Although one student suffered a minor bruise, she was administered first aid at the medical college and discharged in a short while.

The police registered cases against both the drivers, of which one was found to be in an inebriated state.
