Rural Development Minister K.C. Joseph will inaugurate the Reading Week observance at a function here on June 19. A press release here on Wednesday said that the Minister would inaugurate the programme at the Pallikkunnu Government Higher Secondary School at 11 a.m. on Friday. District Collector P. Bala Kiran would read out the Reading Day pledge. Short story writer and critic V.S. Anilkumar will speak at an interactive session for students. K.M. Shaji, MLA, will preside.
