A press note quoting the Minister said that by converting it into a government medical college, students would get the opportunity to study medical courses at government fee while the public could avail themselves of free treatment facilities. She said it would be a boon for north Kerala. Ms.Shylaja added that the government would transform the Pariyaram medical college into a centre of excellence with world class facilities.
