NOC for schools: Kerala seeks time

The State government on Monday sought more time from the Kerala High Court for processing applications from educational institutions seeking no objection certificates (NOC) for getting their schools affiliated to the CBSE, ICSE and the State board.

The High Court had directed the government to take a call on the applications by May 20. The government said in an affidavit that of the 796 applications, 534 were rejected as they did not satisfy the guidelines.
