Sixty children, aged between three and 15, sustained minor injuries when a private mini bus transporting them to schools capsized at Parathode in Cherur here on Friday.

Onlookers said the bus plunged into slush at the edge of the road and overturned around 8-50 a.m. when it gave way to a motorcycle.

The children were given medical care at two private hospitals.
