: Minister for Co-operation C.N. Balakrishnan has alleged that the opposition MLAs had acted like rowdies in the Assembly during the Budget presentation.
He was addressing the function held at Chalakkara on Sunday to give reception for the UDF area procession led by KPCC vice-president M.M. Hassan.
However the Opposition MLAs didn’t hesitate to take the allowance though they disrupted the Assembly proceedings, he said.
“The CPI(M) should think about where they stand now. They don’t have any presence in West Bengal, which was their bastion once. They have a negligible presence in Kerala, that too because people here are decent. During next election people should think whether they need the UDF, the protectors of democracy, or the LDF, a bunch of rowdies, to govern them,” the Minister said.
