An event marking the third death anniversary of Kerala Congress(M) leader K.M. Mani, K.M. Mani Smriti Sangamam, will be held here on April 9.

The event, organised by the KC(M) State committee, will begin with party chairman Jose K. Mani offering floral tributes at the portrait of the late Mani. On the occasion, the party will announce the official launch of its programme to build at least one house for the homeless in every district.

Water Resources Minister Roshy Augustine, Government Chief Whip N. Jayaraj, Thomas Chazhikkadan, MP, and party legislators Job Michael, Pramod Narayan, and Sebastian Kulathungal, will also attend.

KC(M)‘s ward unit presidents, party leaders at various levels, its local body members, representatives in various cooperative bodies, and leaders of feeder organisations, will also attend the event.

Considering that the first two death anniversaries were observed in a rather subdued manner in view of the COVID-19 restrictions, the organisers have made elaborate arrangements to make this year’s event a grand success.

Meanwhile, Goa Governor P.S. Sreedharan Pillai will present the legal excellence award instituted by the Lawyers’ Congress, a feeder organisation of the KC(M), a function to be held in Kochi on April 7.
