Union Minister of State for Labour Kodikunnil Suresh has called for immediate implementation of the Alind Revival Package.
Mr. Suresh was inaugurating the renovated office building of the Alind Switch Gear Employees Association at Mannar in Alappuzha district on Wednesday.
The Minister said updating the service conditions and salary structure of the employees in tune with the changing times too was a must. Mr. Suresh called upon the workers not to forget their responsibility to the nation as well as society.
Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee secretary Mannar Abdul Latheef, who is also association president, presided over the function. P.C. Vishnunath, MLA, delivered the keynote address.
