Fruits fest-2015, a three-day fruits and food festival organised by the Kudumbasree Mission, will be held at the Pinangaode junction here from Thursday to Saturday.
The festival was aimed at introducing value-added fruits and food products of the units to the public, P.P. Muhammad, district coordinator, Kudumbasree Mission, said.
Members of 10 selected canteen and catering service units, 25 micro enterprise units, and 20 joint liability groups under the mission would participate in the festival.
Innovative dishes from locally available fruits and tubers as well as different types of pesticide-free vegetable would be available at the festival, Mr. Muhammad said.
