The Kilimanoor police arrested an auto-rickshaw driver for sexually assaulting a minor boy two days ago.
The police identified the accused as Arun Das, 37, of Nelikkunnu in Adayaman. He has been accused of assaulting a 17-year-old boy after forcing him to consume liquor. The alleged incident occurred on Saturday after the driver offered the survivor a lift to his house. Charged under provisions of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO), the accused has been remanded to judicial custody.
