Action on requests soon

Nearly a week after the Chief Minister’s mass contact programme held here, the authorities have begun compiling 7,005 applications for taking follow-up action.

A meeting of the senior district officials held at the Collectorate conference hall here on Wednesday decided to submit a report in this regard by June 15, official sources said.

It was also decided to take immediate action on over 600 applications for BPL ration cards, welfare pension, and other financial assistance taken up during the mass contact programme on May 14.
