As much as 75.48 per cent students who appeared for the Vocational Higher Secondary examination have become eligible for higher education and 88.38 per cent qualified for securing a trade certificate.
Releasing the results here on Wednesday, Education Minister M.A. Baby said that out of the 23,486 students qualified for higher education, 20,060 would get a trade certificate.
The save-a-year examination would be held from June 14. The Kerala Public Service Commission had recognised 31 out of the 42 courses being conducted by the Vocational Higher Secondary Department, he said.
