P. Prabhakaran confirmed as Chief Secretary

The Cabinet on Wednesday confirmed Additional Chief Secretary P. Prabhakaran as the new Chief Secretary.

He has been given charge of the Chief Secretary last week following deputation of incumbent Neela Gangadharan to the Centre.

Mr. Prabhakaran, who is the senior most IAS Officer serving in the State, has held posts such as that of District Collector, Kasaragod, Registrar of Cooperative Societies, Secretary (Rural Development) and Additional Chief Secretary (General Administration and Fisheries).
