A 25-year-old youth was murdered by unidentified assailants at Bilalabad locality on Thursday night.
The deceased has been identified as Zainuddin Jalal of Bilalabad colony. Police said the assailants took the victim into a room close to his residence and gagged his mouth with a piece of cloth, tied his hands and legs and hacked him to death.
According to the police, the incident took place around 10 p.m. The reason for murder is yet to be established. A case has been registered in Roza police station.
