The Gulbarga Academy of Fine Art will organise a two-day painting workshop at the Art Gallery on the premises of Department of Kannada and Culture in Kalaburagi on May 30 and 31 to commemorate the 110th birth anniversary of artist Shankar Rao Alandkar.
Addressing a press conference, academy convener Vishweshwari Tiwari and artists A.S. Patil and Rehman Patel said that around 25 senior and junior artists would display their paintings on the first day.
Senior artists from the Hyderabad-Karnataka region would participate in the second day of the workshop to discuss the works and style of Alandkar.
