Woman electrocuted in Brahmavar

A 55-year-old woman died after she came into contact with a live electricity wire at Uppoor village coming under Brahmavar police station limits on June 28.

According to the police, Kittu was cutting grass in her field around 11.30 a.m. at Kudrubettu in Uppoor village on June 28.

She accidentally came into contact with a live electricity wire which had broken and fallen due to strong winds and rains, and suffered severe injuries.

She was rushed to a private hospital in Brahmavar, where she was pronounced dead.

Case registered

A case of unnatural death had been registered in Brahmavar police station and investigations were on, the police said.
