Political rivals shared the dais at a religious programme organised here on Sunday.

Karnataka Janata Paksha leader and former Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa, Janata Dal (Secular) State unit president H.D. Kumaraswamy, Congress MP N. Dharam Singh, BSR Congress president B. Sriramulu and president of the Akhila Bharata Veerashaiva Mahasabha Shamanur Shivashankarappa were all present at the valedictory of the two-day 28th Guruvandana programme organised by Mugolkhod-Jeedaga Math here.

They all joined Murugharajendra Swami in honouring Sri Sri Ravi Shankar of Art of Living Foundation with Siddhashree award. At this point, Mr. Yeddyurappa extended his hand towards Mr. Kumaraswamy, who reciprocated in the same spirit. The two leaders greeted each other with a smile and shook hands.
