Two killed in as many incidents

Two persons were killed, one in a roof collapse and another when a snake bit him, in Koppal taluk on Monday

Ningappa Kallahalli (26) was buried alive after the roof of his house in Mornal village of Koppal taluk, collapsed during the early hours of Monday.

According to reports reaching here, family members along with neighbours rescued Ningappa from the debris. He was rushed to the hospital where he was declared brought dead. The Alwandi police have registered a case.

In another incident, farmer Gudnayya Kalmath (38) died after being bitten by a snake while working in his field at Irkalgad in Koppal taluk on Monday.
