Tumakuru to host career counselling programme on May 24

The annual career guidance and counselling session organised by The Hindu Education Plus will be held at MBA seminar Hall on the premises of Sidddaganga Institute of Technology in Tumakuru on May 24 at 10 a.m.

The programme will be organised by The Hindu Education Plus to help students, who have passed II PU examinations, to choose a career and pursue education in the field. Students from all the three streams (Science, Arts and Commerce) can participate in the program to know about the various opportunities available in different fields and their scope. At the end of the program, an interactive session will be held to help students clear doubts by talking to experts.

The program will be inaugurated by Director of Siddaganga Institute of Technology, Dr. M.N. Chennabasappa. Dr. Shivakumaraiah, Principal, Siddaganga Institute of Technology will give information about various opportunities and courses available in the field of Engineering.

Arham Faraaz from CIGMA, Bengaluru will provide information regarding degree courses in Arts, Science and Commerce and other courses along with job prospects available in these fields.

CET Co-ordinator, A.S. Ravi will speak on the process of online-counselling and seat sharing. He will provide information to the students on how to choose a college, how to choose a branch in case of engineering, documents to be carried by the students while going to online counselling and other details.
