Three injured in group clash in Belagavi

Three members of a cricket team were admitted to a government hospital after they were attacked by the members of a rival team at Kakti collage on the outskirts of the city on Sunday.

The police said their injuries were not serious.

It is reported that the players picked up an argument with their rivals at a cricket match between members belonging to two religious communities.

However, the match ended without any trouble. The attack took place around 7.30 p.m.

The Kakti police have registered a case and on look out of the accused.
