Students exhorted to fight against corruption

Mandya: N. Santosh Hegde, former Supreme Court judge and former Lokayukta of Karnataka, on Monday urged the students to fight against corruption, which he said, has become a major problem in the country.

Speaking at a seminar on “Eradication of Corruption” at Concorde International School on the outskirts of Mandya, Mr. Hegde said that corruption was rampant at all levels in the country and it was detrimental to democracy.

Mr. Hegde stressed the need to launch a massive fight against corruption. Youngsters should play an important role in fighting against corruption, he said.
