Sri Ram Sena accuses BJP of following ‘Pseudo Hinduism’

Questions its silence over ban on entry of Mutalik into Goa

April 02, 2015 05:24 pm | Updated 05:24 pm IST - HUBBALLI

Members of Sri Ram Sena led by its chief Pramod Mutalik, members of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti and Hindu Mahasabha staged a demonstration in Hubballi on Thursday accusing the Bharatiya Janata Party following 'pseudo Hinduism'.

The protest was held in the wake of the Goa Government’s decision to further extend the ban on entry of Mr. Mutalik into Goa by six more months till July 15, 2015. Having gathered in front of the statue of B.R. Ambedkar, the Sri Ram Sena members held placards and raised slogans. They also said that the Constitutional rights were being violated by the Goa Government.

The protestors said that while BJP had condemned the Karnataka Government’s decision to ban entry of VHP leader Praveen Togadia into the State, it had maintained willful silence on the issue of Goa government’s decision on Mr Mutalik.
