Reacting to the incident, Speaker Kagodu Thimmappa said that “some of the human behaviours are normal, but it all depends on where and when they take place.”

He added, “I am seriously considering a ban on carrying mobile phones inside the Houses.” He would, however, take a call after consulting the floor leaders of political parties, Mr. Thimmappa said.
