Searing heat continues

Severe heat wave conditions in Hyderabad Karnataka and Bombay Karnataka continued with Bidar recording the State’s highest maximum temperature of 43 degrees Celsius as per the observations by the India Meteorological Department at 8.30 a.m. on Thursday.

Kalaburagi and Raichur continued to wilt, both recording maximum temperatures of 42.5 degrees Celsius each. Vijayapura recorded a maximum temperature of 41.5 degree Celsius.

The night temperatures also remained high in Hyderabad Karnataka, with Bidar, Raichur and Kalaburagi recording 27 degrees Celsius each. Koppal recorded a maximum temperature of 39 degrees Celsius and Gadag recorded 38 degrees Celsius.
