Scholarship for meritorious students

Gopal Jinagouda Foundation has appealed to meritorious students belonging to economically weaker sections to apply for scholarships to pursue further education after SSLC.

Speaking to presspersons here on Saturday, foundation chairman Gopal Jinagouda said the foundation had been giving financial support to the extent of Rs. 2 lakh to 25 students to pursue further education, including engineering programmes, since 2010. Students with merit and whose annual family income was less than Rs. 40,000 could contact the foundation to avail themselves of the scholarship.
