Privileged pay no fine here

March 11, 2015 05:42 pm | Updated 05:42 pm IST - Belagavi

Parking in ‘No Parking’ area is taxing for the common man who would have to shell out fines for the offence.

But some vehicles are privileged lot.

A scene like this where two jeeps belonging to the Karnataka Neeravari Nigam Limited parked in ‘No Parking’, the roadside and on the adjoining footpath in front of the D.C. Office and CADA Office premises in Belagavi on Wednesday afternoon, is not new.

One can always find similar scenes with Government vehicles, particularly police vehicles parked for long hours in ‘No Parking’ areas in busy commercial areas of the city and get away without paying any fine.
