The JMFC court in Bangarpet has extended the judicial custody of alleged kingpin of multi-crore single digit lottery scam Pari Rajan till June 26.
Rajan was arrested on May 1 in connection with the scam and lodged in Central Prison at Parappana Agrahara, as his bail application was rejected by the court.
He was brought by the Central Prison staff under tight security to the court on Friday. The local police made security arrangements on the court premises.
Additional Civil Judge Mariappa extended the judicial custody by 14 days after the enquiry and fixed June 26 as the next date of hearing.
