The Additional Sessions Court at Kolar Gold Fields on Saturday rejected the bail plea of Pari Rajan, suspected to be the brains behind the single-digit lottery scam.
Rajan’s lawyer moved the sessions court after the JMFC court in Bangarpet rejected the bail application on May 29.
Criminal Investigation Department sleuths arrested Rajan at Bangarpet on May 1, and he is lodged in Bengaluru Central Prison.
The Bangarpet JMFC court on Friday extended the judicial custody of Rajan till July 10 when he was produced before it under tight security. This is third time the court has extended his judicial custody.
