Pakistan currency identified in Belagavi district

A currency note of Pakistan has been found in Belagavi district, forcing the police to take up investigation

A currency note of Pakistan with a face value of ₹10 has been found in Karoshi village in Chikkodi taluk of Belagavi district, forcing the Police to take up investigation.

According to the police, the currency note was found lying on road near Bus Station at Karoshi village by a youth and he immediately took it to the police.

The Chikkodi Police have begun investigation to find out how it came into the village.
