Nidhi Samarpana from November 1

October 22, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 05:38 am IST - KALABURAGI:

Sri Vishwesha Tirtha Swami of Pejawar Mutt will take part in the Pancham Paryaya Nidhi Samarpana, a two-day religious ritual in Kalaburagi from November 1.

President of the samiti, Krishnaji Kulkarni, and secretary, Navali Krishnacharya, addressing presspersons here on Wednesday said the event will be the prelude for ascending the Paryaya Peetha.

The seer will participate in rituals organised in temples, mutts and at devotees’ residences in the city on November 1. Mr. Krishnacharya said that the seer’s ascension of the Paryaya Peetha for the fifth time will be historical as no seer of the Astha mutts of Udupi has ascended the peetha more than four times.
