Law Minister T.B. Jayachandra has said that the new court complex coming up in Hubballi will be a model for the entire country when completed.

He was speaking to presspersons in Hubballi on Saturday after reviewing the progress of the construction work along with district-in-charge minister Vinay Kulkarni and senior officials of the judiciary.

Mr. Jayachandra said that the construction work was nearing completion and it had been planned to inaugurate the new court complex in July.

He said that advanced construction technology had been used in the construction of the court complex, which would have state-of-the-art facilities and centralised air conditioning apart from various amenities for the litigant public as well as the law fraternity.

A total of ₹122 crore is being spent for the court complex.

Earlier accompanied by Mr. Kulkarni, NWKRTC chairman Sadananad Danganavar and senior officials of the judiciary including district judges, the Minister inspected the court halls and the other facilities.
