MoU signed

The National Institute of Engineering (NIE), Mysuru and Centre for Technology and Engineering Application (C-TEA) of Larsen and Toubro, Mysuru, signed a memorandum of understanding recently to foster better industry-institution partnership and to effectively complement each others’ efforts in serving the cause of industries and students, and to facilitate growth and development of industries. A release said NIE and L&T will jointly utilise their infrastructure for research and projects, organise technology development programmes, work on skill and talent building and jointly work towards enhancing employability of students. This would make engineering graduates productive participants of society. As per the MoU, resource persons of NIE and L&T will jointly frame world class hands-on training on cutting-edge technologies at affordable cost to industries. This will bridge the gap between industry and academia.
