‘Monitor functioning of hostels’

Karnataka State Women’s Commission chairperson Manjula Manasa has said that Ministers, legislators and officials should personally monitor the functioning of the government-run hostels.

Speaking to presspersons after visiting a girls’ hostel at Saidapur here on Tuesday, Ms. Manasa said the government was releasing sufficient funds for the proper functioning of these hostels. But to ensure their proper utilisation, the legislators and officials would have to personally monitor their functioning, she added.
