Modi to address election rally in Mangaluru on May 5

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address an election rally of the BJP in the city on May 5, according to K. Monappa Bhandary, former MLC.

He told presspersons here on Tuesday that Mr. Modi would address the rally at Nehru Maidan at 5.30 p.m. Earlier on the same day he would address a rally in Shivamogga at 2.30 p.m. and fly to Mangaluru by a helicopter.

Booth-level workers and candidates of the BJP from 10 Assembly constituencies in Dakshina Kannada and Kodagu districts would attend the rally in the city.

There would be no other programme of the Prime Minister in the city on Saturday. He would leave the city by 7 p.m.

Many State level leaders of the party would participate in the rally, Mr. Bhandary said.
