The district police have questioned some suspects in connection with the mysterious death of a 17-year-old minor at Henberu village near Byndoor on July 17.
K. Annamalai, Superintendent of Police, told The Hindu on Friday that the police had some clues in the case and they were working on it. The post-mortem report from Kasturba Hospital in Manipal was expected on Saturday.
“We are confident of cracking the case,” he said.
Meanwhile, Kimmane Ratnakar, Minister of State for Primary and Secondary Education, visited the house of the minor at Henberu village and consoled her parents.
