The economic condition of the country can improve only when the situation in society is understood systematically, Karnataka State Backward Commission Chairman H. Kantraj has said. Speaking after inaugurating a felicitation programme for meritorious students, organised by the District Economic Forum and Aishwarya Fort Group of Hotels here on Sunday, he said that it is essential to understand social conditions in order to ensure social justice to every individual in society. “People will not get justice if persons without such knowledge hold the reigns of power in the State,” he said.

The State and Union governments have decided to introduce a new education policy and has sought a detailed report from the committee of experts. So it’s essential to frame the policies in a systematic manner by getting suggestions from persons with thorough knowledge, so that the future generations are prepared to face challenges of competitive world, he added.
