MD fails to turn up

None of the senior BMTC officials, including the corporation’s Managing Director Ekroop Caur, turned up for the roundtable for improving bus services. BMTC was represented by an assistant executive engineer, traffic, who said he would convey commuters’ inputs to the management.

Vinay Srinivasa from Bengaluru Bus Prayanikara Vedike said Ms. Caur and Commissioner of Directorate of Urban Land Transport V. Manjula were among others invited; but they did not turn up. N.S. Mukunda from Citizen’s Action Forum condemned the absence of decision makers at the meeting.
