Jayadeva institute to be set up in Kalaburagi, Mysuru

A super speciality heart hospital on the lines of Sri Jayadeva Institute of Cardiovascular Sciences and Research, Bengaluru, will be set up in Kalaburagi at a total cost of Rs.15 crore, according to C.N. Manjunath, director of the institute.

Dr. Manjunath said that the hospital is being set up to cater to the needs of the people of the Hyderabad-Karnataka region. He said that the building would be ready by February 2017.

Similarly, a 350-bed hospital in Mysuru is being constructed and the work is expected to be completed by 2017.

The primary objective of setting up super speciality hospitals is to provide super speciality heart care treatment at the nearest place and at an affordable price, said Dr. Manjunath.
