Sriramana H.K., a student of DVS Independent PU College, has the ambition to join defence services after pursuing engineering course. “I got information on the career opportunities for engineering graduates in defence services. The programme provided me with the necessary information on the preparations to be made in this regard,” he said.

Harshitha G.C., a student of Vidyavinuthana PU College, wants to be a computer science engineer. “The experts who spoke in the programme enlightened the students on the present placement scenario in Information Technology sector,” she said.

Raviraj K.N., a student of Sir. M. Visvesvaraya College of Engineering, Davangere, said, he was familiarised with the seat allotment process for professional courses conducted by KEA. The information on the career opportunities for those pursuing paramedical courses is useful,” he said.

M.S. Neetha, who has passed second Pre-University examination from Vikasa Pre-University College here, found the career guidance and counselling programme organised by The Hindu Education Plus as extremely informative.

“I had many confusions regarding the seat allotment process for professional courses conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA). The seat allotment process was de-mystified by KEA officials during their interactive session with students,” she said.
