Severe heat wave conditions in Hyderabad Karnataka and Bombay Karnataka region continued without any respite, with Kalaburagi and Bidar recording the State’s highest maximum temperature of 44 degree Celsius each, as per the observations recorded by the India Meteorological Department (IMD) at 8.30 a.m. on Saturday.
The maximum temperature recorded by Bidar and Kalaburagi was 6 and 4 degree Celsius more than the respective temperatures recorded on the same day last year.
The night temperatures also continued to be oppressive in the Hyderabad-Karnataka region, with Bidar and Raichur recording a minimum temperature of 26 degree Celsius. Kalaburagi recorded a minimum temperature of 24 degree Celsius.
Ballari, which recorded a maximum temperature of 39 degree Celsius, recorded a high minimum temperature of 21 degree Celsius.
Vijayapura in Bombay Karnataka region recorded a maximum temperature of 41 degree Celsius and a minimum temperature of 21 degree Celsius and Raichur recorded a maximum temperature of 43 degree Celsius. Koppal recorded a maximum temperature of 39 degree Celsius and a minimum temperature of 19 degree Celsius. Gadag in Bombay Karnataka region recorded a maximum temperature of 37.2 degree Celsius and a minimum temperature of 21.3 degree Celsius.
