The police have arrested four persons on the charge of assaulting a person, Ratnakar Poojary (30), in Kundapur.
A press release issued by the district police here on Monday gave the names of the accused as Gururaj Puthran, 28, Santosh, 30, Pradeep, 29, and Raviraj, 44. They were part of a gang of about 10 persons who assaulted Ratankar at Sangam in Kundapur on October 13.
Ratnakar was a fan of actor, Sudeep, and he had shared a comment on social media against religious leader, Vinay Guruji, who had allegedly spoken negatively about Sudeep.
