Floods: RGUHS puts off exams

The Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) has decided to postpone the ayurveda, allied health sciences and physiotherapy examinations at the behest of several colleges in the State who said they had a large number of students from Kerala and Kodagu.

“The university has postponed the examinations from August 29 to September 11 for the benefit of students,” said S. Sacchidanand, Vice-Chancellor of the university. M.K. Ramesh, Registrar (Evaluation) of the university, said the last date to pay fees had been extended till August 31. There are 165 colleges offering ayurveda, allied health sciences and physiotherapy courses that are affiliated to the RGUHS.
