An outbreak of a fire damaged a television set, a fan and wiring, in a house at Kukkikatte here on Monday.
According to the Department of Fire and Emergency Services, there was an outbreak of fire in the house of Sharif Saheb around 9.25 a.m. A short circuit is suspected to be cause of the outbreak of fire. Other than television set, a fan and electrical wiring, nothing else was damaged.
Cash taken away
A gang of persons broke into a shop at Kinnimulki and decamped with Rs. 76,000 in cash coming under Malpe police station limits.A case has been registered and investigation is on, the police added.
