Exhibition focussing on Mandya in February

A six-day exhibition focussing on the cultural heritage of Mandya district will be held in February, A.B. Rameshbabu Bandisidde Gowda, Srirangapatna MLA, has said.

The Mandya district administration is organising the exhibition as part of the diamond jubilee celebrations of the formation of Mandya district, Mr. Bandisidde Gowda, chairman of the exhibition committee, told presspersons here.

Minister for Housing and in-charge of the district M.H. Ambareesh will inaugurate the exhibition to be held at the Government Boys College (Autonomous) grounds on February 19, he said. The committee is planning to put up 100 stalls for government departments and private agencies and commercial establishments.

Meanwhile, Mr. Bandisidde Gowda has appealed to the people to share the details and pictures of various issues and developments pertaining to the history of the district.
