Eshwarappa hits out at non-BJP MLAs

Rural Development Minister K.S. Eshwarappa on Sunday hit out at MLAs of rival camps who were hesitating to join the saffron party, saying they were scared of losing minority votes.

He made the remark at a programme organised by Sri Rama Sene in Bengaluru to congratulate the Prime Minister over the Centre’s decision to abrogate Article 370. He said several MLAs from the Congress and JD (S) were ready to join the BJP, but they were scared of losing Muslim votes.
