EP career counselling at KGF

The Hindu Education Plus is back with its annual career counselling and guidance session to lend a helping hand to students. It will be held at Dr. Thimmaiah Seminar Hall of Dr. T. Thimmaiah Institute of Technology (TTIT) in Kolar Gold Fields (KGF) on May 24 (Sunday). The programme will commence at 9 a.m.

It will be a one-stop shop for career related queries. KGF is one among 11 centres where the sessions will be held across Karnataka.

B.G. Ranganath, vice-principal, Sri Devaraj Urs Medical College, Kolar will be the chief guest. CET official Zia Ullaha Khan will represent the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) while Kala Balasubramanian will speak on the general education front at the session.

The Hindu Education Plus invites students of classes 10, 11 and 12 and Pre-University courses, and their parents, to the programme.

Like every year, students will be given a free copy of ‘The Nxt Step’, a hand book which contains well-researched articles charting trends and helping students plan their next step.

Free pick-up

The GVET has arranged free transportation. TTIT college vans will pick up interested participants at 7.45 a.m.

Two vehicles will leave the old bus stand in Kolar and travel through KSRTC bus stand, Domelight Circle and Bangarpet.

One vehicle will travel from KSRTC bus stand in Mulbagal and pick up students and parents from Betamangala en route to KGF.
