Minister of State for Medical Education Sharan Prakash Patil inaugurated the computerised axial tomography scan facilities at the Bidar Institute of Medical Sciences in Bidar on Thursday.
“This will benefit the poor who spend a lot on rushing patients to cities like Hyderabad and Solapur,” the Minister said. He also inaugurated the blood platelets separation unit on the district hospital premises. The Minister inspected the work of the new hospital building coming up on the BRIMS premises. This will create necessary infrastructure to offer tertiary healthcare services, he said.
