Elroy Kiran Crasto took charge as the new Director of Commission for Labour, and Lesli Arouza as Director of Commission for Family, at the Bishop's Chapel here on June 3.
A release by the Udupi Catholic Diocese here on Wednesday said that Most Rev. Dr. Gerald Isaac Lobo, Bishop of Udupi, administered the oath in a short but meaningful prayer service.
Mr. Crasto had earlier served as president of Udupi region of Catholic Sabha, while Mr. Arouza was earlier the Assistant Director of Family Commission.
There are 18 Commissions in the Diocese involved in the implementation of ‘Pastoral Plan 2025’.
