Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Shivaraj Singh Chauhan on Wednesday accused Congress party of projecting BJP ruled states in bad light before the people of Karnataka.
Addressing press persons here on Wednesday, Mr. Chauhan said that Congress party was trying to project BJP as anti-dalit and also blowing unfortunate incidents in BJP ruled states out of proportion solely for the sake of showing BJP in bad light. He alleged that Congress was utilising these unfortunate incidents for political benefits.
He said BJP would come to power in Karnataka as it had three main components namely leadership, organisation and ideology required for winning an election.
A new era
Mr. Chauhan said Prime Minister Narendra Modi was working towards realising the dreams of Swami Vivekananda, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and Mahatma Gandhiji. And because of him a new era had begun in the country’s politics and the nation was progressing towards development, he said.
Mr. Chauhan alleged that Congress party was trying to divide the religion in Karnataka and had indulged in appeasement politics for the sake of retaining power. He mocked at AICC President Rahul Gandhi for his comment on ‘becoming Prime Minister’ and said nobody would take his statement seriously.
Mr. Chauhan also accused Congress of telling lies for the sake of power and trying to project BJP as anti-dalit. “But the truth is that Congress has meted out injustice to dalits and not BJP”, he said.
He said Mr. Modi had created enough jobs through many schemes and PM’s Mudra scheme had benefitted many in finding self employment.
“In Madhya Pradesh alone around 30 lakh youths have been benefitted from the scheme”, he said. Former chief minister Jagadish Shettar and others were present.
