“Everything will be allright and there is no need to carry out Operation Lotus as the coalition parties (Congress and Janata Dal-S) will themselves destabilise the government in the State after the Lok Sabha elections due to differences among themselves, BJP MLA from Ballari B. Sriramulu has said.

He was talking to presspersons in Raichur on Thursday after accompanying party candidate Raja Amareshwar Naik to the election office when the latter filed his nomination papers.

“We will get more number of seats from the State to help Narendra Modi become Prime Minister again,” he stressed.

Referring to the statements made by Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy, Mr. Sriramulu said that he was trying to weaken the Income Tax Department.

The BJP was not aware of the exact amount that was seized from the house of the leaders of the Janata Dal(S). After collecting details, the BJP will approach a proper forum seeking justice, he said.

Mr. Sriramulu also said that Mr. Kumaraswamy was trying to get his son and also his brother’s son elected in Mandya and Hassan. However, both will lose in the elections, he added.
